six years we work and, if we behave properly, the land will be given for an additional six years.\u00a0 However, when they cancelled the Sabbatical year and acted as if the land was theirs, they were exiled from it\u00a0; measure for measure.<\/p>\n<p>I think \u201ccustodians\u201d instead of &#8220;owners&#8221; is a better way to think about possession of land.\u00a0\u00a0This has political implications, i.e. the need to share the land when there is a refugee crisis;\u00a0 and I think we would be living an ecologically \u201cgreener\u201d lifestyle if we truly thought of ourselves as caretakers\u00a0of the world God created.<\/p>\n<p>Shabbat Shalom,<\/p>\n<p>Rabbi Paul Arberman<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;
