margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;\">This year we have four new guests at our seder \u2014 our dog Sheleg (Snow) gave birth to four puppies!\u00a0 We are over the moon with excitement. \u00a0 The first three days, she wouldn\u2019t even let us near them \u2014 but she has calmed down after a full week, and we can pet them gently.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; min-height: 17px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;\">The question is, of course, do pets need kosher for Pesach food?\u00a0 The answer is yes.\u00a0 In fact, a dog is featured in the Halacha as being able to help us with keeping kosher for Pesach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; min-height: 17px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;\">Any food which so spoiled that even a dog would not eat it, is no longer considered to be hametz and if such food is still in the house on Pesach it is not considered a violation of the law against having hametz in one&#8217;s possession during that week. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; min-height: 17px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;\">That is helpful for moldy crumbs in that hard to reach spot.\u00a0 The dog wouldn\u2019t eat it?\u00a0 Then it\u2019s fine. \u00a0 I mean, you should clean if you can, but if you can\u2019t, it\u2019s fine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; min-height: 17px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;
