{"id":1875,"date":"2015-04-22T12:26:02","date_gmt":"2015-04-22T12:26:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hayleyroosphotography.co.uk\/mosaic\/?p=1875"},"modified":"2015-06-03T09:18:25","modified_gmt":"2015-06-03T09:18:25","slug":"shabbat-18-april-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hayleyroosphotography.co.uk\/mosaic\/services\/this-shabbat\/shabbat-18-april-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Shabbat 18 April 2015 &#8211; Parasha Shemini"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Shabbat comes in at 7.46pm &amp; goes out at 8.53pm<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In parshat Shemini, we read the story of Nadav and Avihu, Aharon\u2019s two sons who died while presenting a \u201cstrange\u201d fire offering to God.\u00a0 Rashi comments that Aharon\u2019s sons were either guilty of being drunk while in the Temple and\/or not deferring to Moshe on a legal question posed in his presence. However, right after that, Rashi tells us that these very same sons of Aharon were actually greater than both Moshe and Aharon (based on Midrash,Vayikra Rabbah (12:2).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The resolution of this seeming contradiction may lay in the difference between the wisdom that comes from knowledge and the understanding that comes from experience.
