{"id":1868,"date":"2015-04-09T14:40:13","date_gmt":"2015-04-09T14:40:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hayleyroosphotography.co.uk\/mosaic\/?p=1868"},"modified":"2015-04-09T14:40:13","modified_gmt":"2015-04-09T14:40:13","slug":"shabbat-4-april-2015-pesach-day-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hayleyroosphotography.co.uk\/mosaic\/services\/this-shabbat\/shabbat-4-april-2015-pesach-day-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Shabbat 4 April 2015 \u2013 Pesach Day 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>THE FOUR CHILDREN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Shabbat comes in at 7.22pm &amp; goes out at 8.27pm<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Rebbe of Ger once pointed out that the \u2018four sons\u2019 of the Haggadah can be understood as representing four generations.\u00a0 The wise son is the immigrant generation who still lives the traditions of the \u2018home\u2019. The rebellious son is the second generation, forsaking Judaism for social integration. The \u2018simple\u2019 son is the third generation, confused by the mixed messages of religious grandparents and irreligious parents.\u00a0 But the child who cannot even ask the question is the fourth generation.
