The trust is a charity set up to continue the fundraising initiative of a 23 year old student who passed away in 1998, just one year after being diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia. The trust\u2019s main objective is to provide facilities for leukemia patients and their families which would not otherwise be available, thus alleviating just a little the emotional and physical pain at what is inevitably a very bleak period in their lives.
