Harrow Interfaith, which represents nine faiths in Harrow, has issued a response to the recent documentary by Trevor Phillips – What British Muslims Really Think (Channel 4).
The documentary published the findings of a recent survey on Muslim attitudes and highlighted that a significant minority of Muslims in the UK did not want to accept our way of life, wanted to bring Sharia law to the UK and would not work with the Police to report suspicious activities.
The response states that the spiritual and lay leaders of ALL the Mosques affiliated to Harrow Interfaith absolutely disassociate themselves and their members from the above findings and re-affirm their rejection of any person who fails to promote Peace and have full regard of the sanctity of life.
